In collaboration with local Architects, Paragon provided Interior Design services for various projects at Perry Memorial Hospital. This project was part of a multi-phased master plan intended to expand services, improve the patient, family and visitor experience and upgrade the overall building to meet the latest life safety and ADA codes. This 40,000-square-foot, $11.6 million project included new entrances, receptions areas, waiting areas, and circulation.
Based on extensive interviews with administration and staffs, an interior finish scheme was developed. The client asked for warm, soothing finishes and soft neutral colors.
Wood segmented panels, cove lighting, accent paint colors and carpet tiles with interesting texture and warm earth tones were used throughout the corridors and waiting areas to add interest.
A variety of seating options: tables with chairs, lounge chairs and bariatric seating, offer many ways to utilize the waiting areas. All furniture, fabrics, carpeting, paints and wall coverings were chosen with timelessness, durability, stain resistance, and environmental consciousness in mind. We are proud to have successfully provided the interior design elements to update and improve the environment within this healthcare facility.
